Do it Yourself PSP hacking

I should have written this a long time ago but I was really lazy that I only did it just now. What I'm writing about is how I was able to hack my PSP 3000. I can personally say that even if your a newbie at hacking something like a psp or iphone or ipod touch and the like it is really possible for you to do so. It is risky but sometimes you need to take the risk to do things on your own right? If not, then you won't learn new things. I won't be posting here steps on how to hack a psp 3000 instead, I will just post the links you need and key points you must remember to be able to successfully hack your psp. My Warning, or rather my Advice if you want to try hacking your psp, first you must do research. Read about how it is done, watch videos and read articles about it. You can read about it on the net, just google it. Then, before trying it, make sure you have read the procedures many times and have grasp the step on how to do it. Also watch the video of the procedure several times before doing it yourself. If you are confident enough and you think you are ready, then start hacking. So, below are the links you need.

First, this is the link to know what type of mother board your psp has.

You can find the two download link at the bottom part of the article. One link if for the psp which has already been hack (i.e. CFW or Hen), and the other link is for the psp which in on an OFW(orignal firmware)

This is a video of how to hack you psp 3000 using 6.20 pro b4. what I used in my psp is pro b6. whichever you want to try the procedures are the same. Just Follow the instructions carefully (CAREFULLY). After all, they are very simple and so easy to follow.Very important to remember, READ READ READ, WATCH WATCH WATCH. READ carefully the description part of the video. See picture below.

Then download the things which are applicable to your psp. You will know which one it is when you have read through the description information.Then, WATCH the video several times (about 3 to 5 times) before attempting the hacking. When you've gained confidence that you have grasp the procedure very well and your are ready, then do it step by step. You can even pause and play the video while you're hacking step by step.

KEYPOINTS TO REMEMBER!!

1. THIS WILL WORK ON ALL PSP MODELS, FROM 01g - 05g. 07g and 09g ARE NOT SUPPORTED FOR THIS METHOD. To know you psp model or mother board, see first link above.
2. If your psp is above 6.20 version (i.e. 6.35 and above), you have to downgrade to 6.20.
3. If your psp is below 6.20 then you must upgrade to 6.20. (how to downgrade and upgrade are also on the video.)
